Perry and Linda are deeply in love with each other and are content with their quiet life. They lived in a small, peaceful community until some mysterious strangers invaded their community. In pain, sorrow and disbelief, Perry found himself in a totally strange land, far away from his soulmate. Their lives were turned upside down.
Okeremute Ovuorho is an environmentalist and the founder of Blue Ribbon Animation Studio in Abuja. Nigeria. He is also an animator and a media consultant. He is passionate about social change, especially in the aspect of climate action. He has worked in various media organizations including BBC Media Action in Nigeria.
He attended several animation workshops organized by The French Institute of Nigeria and the German embassy. He is the winner of the Nigeria Film Corporation competition in scriptwriting for the animation child film project in 2004. In 2020, his animated film titled “Lake Kabula” won the best film in nature/environment/wildlife at the Tagore International Film Festival, India. His latest animated film “Free to Fly” won the outstanding animation film at the 18th Abuja International Film Festival.
He produced a prototype of a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Project in Nigeria being led by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and the Harvard EASEL Lab. The project’s objectives are to create with teacher feedback a toolkit of, easy-to-use, and effective strategies (“kernels”) that promote children’s social-emotional development in the classroom and throughout schools.
He is currently working with his team to take the message of plastic pollution to primary and secondary schools across Nigeria.
